figured i'd give this pack a thread since a lot of people with accounts on this forum contributed to it. dump pack consisting of mostly old BMS music which is cool to see. i like the more technical charts in this pack that use minijacks/jacks more than the stream dumps, think they generally follow the music better

played a fair bit of the pack today and skimmed the rest. enjoyed a lot of the easy charts, with particular standouts being:
[0-1] Fascism - rolltech
[1-1] Time Space 3 - fun mix of jackspeed and minijack control
[1-4] Ethereal - song is pretty boring but the minijack js and jack bursts are fun
[1-6] anti - really fun mix of minijack control, jacks and streams. probably my favorite chart out of what ive played

i learned from the Lofty 2 2 reviews that it's too time consuming to write a full, detailed review of each file, so i'm just gonna write a short description of the files that made me want to write something (excluding my files)

[1-1] Time Space 3 - gives off I'm so drunk vibes. good jackspeed file
[1-2] Anima - Scintill if he would do NBJS, done by Kazye. turbo bonkers file
[2-1] Wet Fingers - Rebound Dump Collection-like file. played good on 1.0x, not sure how it will play on rates, but probably fun as well
[2-2] Tic Toc - cool
[2-7] Marisa Stole A Precious Thing - funny
[2-9] Breathe - zaalseen does midare impressions and quite succeeds with it
[2-X] Deadman's Dance - cool chordjack, cool song
[2-Y] 狂宴 - Dance when Cried - - shion did nothing wrong
[3-0] スペクトラム - SOOOOOOO good cj wow.... definitely much better than prime132 file (ごめんなさいprimーさん。。。)
[3-1] Sayonara o Oshiete - really good bursty dump file. the ending is probably too hard but i can close eyes to it. song is also a banger though
[3-5] A Silent Prayer to the Void - good song, good file. The song reminded me about older AKITO songs, like Voices of the Void
[4-2] One Me Two Hearts - i like the usage of polys. also jacks are cool
[4-3] Binomi - jumpjacks at the end were fun
[4-6] disillusion - kind of feels like Crawl Through Knives but for babies. good stuff, probably one of the most solid files in the pack
[5-1] ひぐらしのなく頃に - not sure if i either have an euphoria from reading the vn right now (best piece of literature as of 2026 imho btw) or is the file just that good. thought that the file will be insanely boring because of how stamina it is but apparently it's complete opposite. minijacks are carrying this file.
[5-3] Fall In Love - Grape Cola but more than 2 patterns
[5-4] Morgenglut 2012 - funny. not sure if the middle part should be that hard but whatever
[6-7 haHAA] The reason you draw pictures of me - it's like hush but easier and less stamina demanding and i like hush
[6-9] Gun to Childhead - finally someone made file for it and it's really
[Z-Z] Puru puru pururin - gero


(BONUS) files that could be good but didn't make it:
[2-8] Even Though I Loved You - just copies polys from Train in the 1st half, and the 2nd half doesn't follow any logic (e.g. repetitive verses in the break part charted all differently)
[4-5] Stay on the outside (cut ver.) - copies trills from Patterns of the Ancients (why???) despite that it doesn't even fit the song properly. also imo song is too calm to make a hard file like that, feels just like difficult file for the sake of difficulty
[5-6] Keradon's Theme - file is insanely rolly and is full of dense as fuck handstream burst transitions between the streams that play like shit even for 95%+ run. also this cd title is horrible, do something with it. but as a first file it's probably nice

oh yeah forgot to mention that this was also really good. preview point made me expect just a pure js chart but the bursts and polys were real fun to hit.

i also forgot to mention that quite a few songs in this pack i was planning on charting myself:

omega - i was going to do an old tech chart approach to this so yeah, this is very different
omega ix - i was considering charting this and i think zeta was as well, in fact i think he made his own mix of the track that combines parts from the SP and DP versions. i was planning on dumping it but this is a lot more streamy and heavily dumped than what i was thinking of
morgenglut 2012 - never seriously was considering it but thought about it a few times. first half is pretty similar to what i was thinking but w/o the vocal dumping (and minijacks instead of jacks for the stuff in between the wubs in the middle)
gun to childhead - another track both zeta and i were considering charting. zeta was planning on doing really hard minedodge, my idea was something more like this chart but probably more jack and burst focused (and maybe a bit easier)

few words about files i enjoy the most in this pack, skipped my files ofc
[1-2] Anima - trilly light js with some jacks and burst, feels very accurate even on uprates, easily one of the best charts in pack
[1-5] E t h e r e a l - bursty js with jacks, perfect file to go ultra fast
[1-9] Data Lake - bms song, dumpy in a way i wouldnt think of, which makes it very interesting to play, also a short file that you can go very fast at because has a lot of breaks between bursts
[2-0] Night View - bms song, a good chordjack file, anchors that don't feel too long and breaks that help to emphasize the song, final break before chorus is amazing, type of break im charts im looking for
[2-6] b r i c k s q u a d r a v e - i go hard in the mf paint, also a fun chordjack file
[2-9] Breathe - i really really like this one, jacks in this one are extremaly satisfying to hit, and dump between choruses make it a good test of switching between streamy and jacky patterns
[2-Ω] OMEGA IX - another short file that you can go very fast at, js with minijacks really fits the hard part of this song
[3-3] Mysterious Purupuru Pururin Rin! - trilly stream file, no stamina
[3-5] A Silent Prayer to the Void - old bms songs really touch my heart and this one is charted very well, dumps go very good with the song's flow
[4-4] You - bms song, vocal dump, whole difficulty of a file in 40 seconds and its peak
[5-2] It Can't Come Quickly Enough - very mongol style streamy long dump, from trilly to anchor bursts it makes it a satisfying play
