been real busy lately between repairs in my room, visiting friends, and doing various other things that took up my time instead of playing etterna and posting on this forum. back to the usual now though so here's a new score thread to try to pump some more activity. unlike the usual score thread though this ones less about the quality of the score itself and more just highlighting cool shit that should get more plays. feel free to reply to other peoples posts with your own scores on the files and your own thoughts

i didnt play much today since i was kind of rusty and got tilted from how ass i was playing some things (was falling behind on 170 bpm js) but still found some cool stuff

cool js chart, bunch of short runs of jumpstream with light but tricky patterns. has a long oht near the end thats hard but super satisfying to hit

did you know bluemystic charted? i didnt. this charts really good though for being a ckmp3 chart, feels more like an odipack2 chart. lots of fast streams, minijacks, polys, jack bursts, all the good tech stuff. musics a banger too, one of my favorite old iidx tracks

Way of the Samurai: there's something about the 8th jumps at the ending that feel really satisfying to me, dont know why. very cool

as for mine, here's Princess♂, a simple but difficult minedodge chart with a harsh ending. has 10 scores including invalid ones on the leaderboards across both diffs

i think some of my images are huge since i play fullscreen, windoz would it be difficult to have the forum scale images through css via bbcode, maybe specifying the percentage for it to be scaled by :mrgreen:

could probably be done. will look into it at some point

ok yeah that took about 30 seconds to do. images in posts have a max width/height display of 640/480 now

yeah you werent kidding about the ending being harsh. went from a 99 to a 93

kind of surprised tim made a minedodge file since he never plays minedodge AFAIK. unfortunately all of the mines are placed after notes so its the sort of minedodge file that strongly encourages pure early window abuse which im generally not a fan of, though it's still easy enough that you don't have to do it if you're good enough at minedodge and controlling the chart, so it's not too big of a deal. i like the usage of different mine gaps for different sounds, always cool to see in minedodge charts. kind of surprised the NM difficulty is just a slight nerf to the minedodge? it doesn't even seem that much easier besides some 16th gap mines being nudged to be 12th gap mines

nice elden ring shortcut in the folder btw

every time i'm seeing freedom dive from obscure ancient japanese packs there's always something new. this time it's practically full density handstreams with jumpjacks in them. while this file gives you some room to manip the patterns, it's still quite challenging even for me (though i don't think there are anyone who can play this file lol it's that hard). file had 0 scores before me btw (at least on the current eo instance)

i just noticed this is in hsmp7 too, idk how i never played this lol. i guess i just looked over it since its easy and in one of the "lets just yoink shit from packs that already exist" hsmps (hsmp5-8)
