some quick thoughts in descendingish importance:
- mines at the end are really mean when pushing, and i can see this being even worse on uprates. i'd probably remove them since its hard enough without them already and it doesnt really fit thematically with the rest of the file having no mines
- really like the density buildup at 52.171
- the minijack js after the aforementioned density buildup feels a little bit underwhelming, i'd recommend some longer jack anchors to the held vocals to both up the difficulty of the section and also follow better the main thing that stands out about this section
- the part right before the minedodge ending seems underlayered; its charted the same as the intro which has a lot less going on. it sounds the same as 17.393 so it should be charted like that section
- this is pretty different from the standard """technical""" charting style because the layering decisions are pretty freeform. one example of this is the aforementioned buildup but in general there's not really the sort of additive layering structure you'd see in a normal chart. this ends up not being too much of an issue though because the chart has its own internal consistency of layering that makes it work out
- charting style overall reminds me a lot of old RARS charts which also had this sort of ddr-esque structure but with chordjack patterning
- bit unfortunate how short the song is (also, how is an extended mix 1m25s???)

- yeah its really harsh on uprates, was gonna get rid of it eventually because even if it was nerfed it comes out of nowhere
- paying homage to the ddr chart a bit there, as it follows a similar build up style
- agreed, i was worried about having longer jacks ramping up the difficulty too much but considering that its probably gonna be 4 notes long the difficulty ramp up would most likely be consistent.
- this was underlayered with the minedodge ending in mind, but since that's going away then i have no reason to keep it charted like the intro
as for the song being short, its called the rc extended club mix because thats the remix being used for this, admittedly, short cut for ddr, the actual remix itself is close to 8 minutes and would be a funny sandstorm extend type situation for me to tackle in the future lmao
sorry for bumping, here's an updated version with a buffed second half + an intro to build up into the main section of the song
dont mind the bump at all
i saw the wip vid in the EOKP discord; looks good though if you're following the vocals then a few of the jacks should be 3 notes long instead
(for example, when the vocals start and it says "twilight zone", the "zone" starts on the 16th before

ill re-chart it again with 3 notes and see how i feel about it, might be one of those things where i end up sacrificing a bit of accuracy for the chart's flow, but cant find out how i feel about it until i chart it
for now ill keep it as 4 notes as i find it plays comfortably there and if i end up liking the 3 note jack better then ill update it to have 3 notes instead
