MA is fine but my reading is definitely starting to get to me here, i wonder if switching back to distant instead of playing on overhead will make reading much easier on me since i was so used to distant before i came back to rhythm games

nice acc scores, was curious how you'd do on acc since i don't remember ever seeing you play it (outside of index maybe?)

generally my thought process re: stuff like this is always "change your settings as infrequently as possible" because every time you do you're disrupting existing reading muscle memory for the nebulous future gain new settings may give to your reading (constantly tweaking cmod i always feel is particularly harmful). if distant is what you mainly used in the past though then it might be a good idea since that's the settings most of your muscle memory was built with

my MA was always very lacking compared to other players, and for a while so was my PA unless it was a file i was trying to PA (i have a few good PA scores, 1g on red rize, SDG on klassiker 1.1, 4g on april's blue army), it's gotten better these days but i think it's a mixture of both being on a better setup and my technique being, frankly, better than it used to be. I think reflecting on my ability as a player now I think I'm better than where i was in 2018 in a lot of respects but a lot worse in others as well, it's strange.

EDIT: and yeah I only did acc on index, and that likely did help a lot because I had a kind of rivalry with etienne on acc stuff in that, which meant i was practicing RA a lot

okay changing to distant didnt actually help whatsoever, but what did help is changing the resolution of my window back to 717x616 which i was used to reading
